Heading to Ghana with Annabelle ! Curious and committed student, she joined the Cap sur le Ghana program to experience a unique professional immersion, combining sustainability, learning and self-discovery.
It was within Reusable Bag, a local structure specialized in the transformation of plastics into reusable bags, that she laid her suitcases for her internship. An experience at the heart of the continent’s environmental issues.
I had already travelled to Dakar before, but I did not have the maturity to take full advantage of it. This time I knew why I was leaving, and I wanted to make the best of it.” – Annabelle
On the spot, Annabelle discovered a meaningful project: giving life to plastic waste to transform it into useful objects, while raising awareness of the ecological emergency.
Over the weeks, she perfected her English in a caring environment, exchanged with local artisans and participated in workshops of creation from recycled materials. She was also able to explore the surrounding area, visit villages, and immerse herself in a warm and inspiring culture.
“This course opened my eyes to the importance of sustainability. I came home wanting to change my habits, consume differently and share what I learned around me.” – Annabelle
🚀 An internship, a trigger, a more conscious future
This adventure in Ghana has not only strengthened her language skills, it has sown a seed of lasting commitment. By joining Cap sur le Ghana, Annabelle has also contributed to a larger project: enhancing local social and environmental initiatives and strengthening links between French youth and African dynamics.
✨ Thanks to the company Reusable Bag for their welcome and inspiring commitment.
